Good morning, readers!

It’s your trusted writer, Isabella, here with exciting news. I celebrated my birthday on Monday and had a blast – thanks to a surprise storm, I got to witness a stunning double rainbow! The State Fair also kicked off last week, offering plenty of food, drinks, and music to enjoy. It’s a great way to start the fall season.

NewPublica Celebrates 10 Years of Meaningful Connections

Our parent company, NewPublica, is celebrating their 10 year anniversary today! There will be a party celebration with diverse food, drinks, and important attendees – how swell. In 2014, co-founders Alberto Monserrate and Melisa Lopez Franzen founded NewPublica with the goal of being a cutting edge firm specializing in connecting, engaging, and transforming our communities with meaningful connections. With humble beginnings, we have grown so much in ten years, added new teams, and have become the premier firm for BIPOC engagement in Minnesota. With the tagline “New Audiences, New Communications”, the team has seen true transformation in this everchanging world, addressing the need for a firm who can truly connect with the communities that matter the most. Word on the street is that they have a big reveal coming soon…

Need Coffee? We got You.

In other news, Starbucks has faced some challenges. Their stock price dropped by 23% in July, and recent controversies have raised concerns among consumers. While Starbucks denies supporting the war in Gaza or Trump’s 2024 campaign, these allegations have contributed to a decline in consumer confidence. Additionally, many customers are frustrated with the rising prices and lack of union support at Starbucks.

YouTuber D’Angelo Wallace offers a compelling analysis of corporate food chains and their strategies to maintain profitability. It’s worth noting that prices at popular fast-food chains like McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, and Subway have increased significantly in recent years, but now they’re fighting for who has the best deal.

“uhhh starbucks is kinda crashing and burning right now 🤡” – D’Angelo Wallace
