Good morning wonderful readers, 

Cultural commentator, Isabella here. Of course I have the last edition to wish this 2023 farewell before the New Year. It’s the holiday season and it hasn’t snowed yet , what the-. Although I enjoy the wonderful 50+ degree weather and the option to wear cute shoes without getting them ruined, I admit I miss our frosty-bestie. It just wasn’t the same to watch ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ or ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ while staring out the window, blizzard upon you, as you sigh and chuckle to the thought of having to defrost your car the day after christmas. 

For those who have been reading us for a while now, you’re familiar with the BIG3 writers: Ebe, Mateo and yours truly. We have updated you on local and worldly news, while also introducing the ironies of our everyday lives into our weekly content. 

Writing NewPrensa is a pleasure of ours. We get to express our deepest, most profound concerns and intend to fill your mornings with laughter in some weird way or another. All in all, it’s very difficult to compile 2023 into one newsletter. But I hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane, I know we sure did.
